Wanda D. Balsley, 76, North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Elkhart, died Friday, October 1, 2021, at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, Florida. She was born October 26, 1944, in Goshen, to Lowell H. & Anabel (Maust) Hartman. On March 13, 1971, she married Lloyd Earl Balsley and he died June 24, 2020. Surviving are a son, Brian (Janna) Balsley, Cape Coral, Florida, grandchildren, Brock & Gavin Balsley, brothers, Phil (Linda) Hartman, Wakarusa, Max Hartman, Goshen, sisters, Paula Clark, Elkhart, Donna (Tom) Caskey, Goshen, Regina Hartman, Wakarusa. Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, Lloyd. Wanda was a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church and was very devoted to her faith in the Lord. She graduated from Wakarusa High School and most recently worked for Carlton Manufacturing prior to retirement. She enjoyed anything that involved being with her family; her brothers, sisters, nephews, and nieces brought her so much joy. She especially cherished her two grandsons, Brock and Gavin, and was so very proud of them. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, with the service following at 11 a.m., all at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, 64901 CR 11, Goshen. Pastor Wes Bontreger and associate pastor Doug Gerber will officiate. Burial will be at Yellow Creek North Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Yellow Creek Mennonite Church or Center for Hospice Care, Elkhart.
