Virginia A. Manges Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Virginia A. Manges, 89, Wakarusa, formerly of Bremen, died 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor. She was born Feb. 18, 1929 in Bourbon, to Lloyd H. & Edith L. (Tripp) Lantz. She married Earl E. Manges on July 31, 1949 in Wakarusa and he died Aug. 29, 2017. Surviving are a son, Lt Col (Ret) Victor J. (Kathleen) Manges, Shiloh, Illinois, daughter-in-law, Jackie (John) Manges, 4 grandchildren, Michelle Earnhardt and Sandy (Kevin) Wolfe, Vincent and Max Manges and 2 great-grandchildren, Sofia Earnhardt and Hazel Wolfe. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Earl, brother, Richard Lantz and a son, John, Atlanta, Georgia. Virginia was a homemaker and an oil painting artist. She attended Nappanee Missionary Church and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Visitation will be two hours prior to the 11 a.m. service on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, 117 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastor Jason Rohde will officiate. Burial will follow at Bremen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to North Central Indiana Teen Challenge, P.O.
