Rose Marie Kauffman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rose Marie Kauffman, 89, Goshen, died 3:54 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Goshen Hospital. She was born December 1, 1932, in Elkhart County, to Forrest C. & Nancy B. (Bontrager) Robinson. On January 3, 1953, she married Donald Lee Kauffman and he died February 17, 2005. Surviving are 3 daughters, Evelyn (Jerry) Nettrouer, New Paris, Janet Kauffman, Goshen, Carolyn Fudge, Berne, 2 sons, Douglas Kauffman & Jerrold Kauffman, both of Goshen, 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Doris Atherton, Sommerset, Kentucky. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Donald, daughter in law, Noelle Kauffman, son in law, Randy Fudge and brother, Forrest L. Robinson. Rose worked as a librarian at New Paris Elementary School for 29 years, retiring in 2001. She was a member of New Paris Missionary Church. Rose enjoyed cooking, gardening, puzzles, the Chicago Cubs & Chicago White Sox and Culver’s Ice Cream. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Private graveside services will be held at New Paris Cemetery.
