Miss Faye Etta Zimmerman

November 3, 1930 - October 31, 2020

Miss Faye Etta Zimmerman, eighty nine years eleven months and twenty eight days, passed away at 8:55 A.M. Saturday, October 31, 2020, at the home of her nephew Kermit and Elsie Zimmerman, where she had lived for the past 18 months. She accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a faithful member of the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church until her death. She was born on November 3, 1930 near New Paris, Indiana to Phares and Martha (Martin) Zimmerman. She lived her whole life in northern Indiana working in manufacturing. She retired from Mastercraft in the mid-1990s to care for her ageing father. She is survived by a sister Lena Naomi (Thomas) Miller of Middlebury Indiana, a brother Elvin Zimmerman of Dalton Ohio, 3 nieces, 7 nephews, 39 grandnieces and grandnephews, and 5 great grandnieces and grandnephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Anna Marie (Titus) Ramer, a nephew Willard Zimmerman, a grandnephew Adron Zimmerman. Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Harrison Christian School, 64784 CR 11 Goshen, IN 46526, on Friday, November 6, 2020. A funeral service will be held 10 am, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Yellow Creek Wisler Mennonite Church, 25012 CR 38 Goshen, IN 46526 with a viewing 1 hour prior. Home ministry will officiate Burial is to follow at the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Aid Ministries or Goshen Hospice Care. The Zimmerman family would like to thank all those that helped care for Faye Etta over the past number of years as her health was declining due to cancer.
