Edward Martin Batts Jr., 59, Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Indiana, died 1:17 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in Bradenton. He was born January 23, 1963, in Auburn, California, to Edward Martin & Sharlene Bernice (Luney) Batts Sr. Surviving are children, Tara Batts, Sara Batts-Castro & Chad Batts, all of Florida, grandchildren, Marc Soper, Celine Batts, Rose, Alex, Jayden & Kayden, stepmother, Bertha Batts, siblings, Dana Lee Miller, Laura Wallace & Teresa L. Batts, all of Indiana. Preceding him in death are his parents and a brother, Jerry Wayne Batts. Edward worked as a diamond setter and martial arts instructor. He enjoyed martial arts, going to concerts and was a great pool player. Edward was a super father, brother, grandfather, friend and teacher.
