Douglas Bradley Grabill, 55, Galax, Virginia, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2019 in Goshen of natural causes complicated by diabetes. He was born Aug. 10, 1964, in Greeley, Colorado, to Mearl W. Grabill & Sue (Spraker Grabill) Morse. Surviving are his father, Mearl W. Grabill, Goshen, mother, Sue (Harold) Morse, Falls Church, Virginia, sister, Angela (Craig) Grabill Long, Eugene, Oregon, 2 nieces, Shannon Long & Camryn Long, Eugene, Oregon, aunt, Mearlene Reynolds, Goshen, other family members, James Bontrager & family, Middlebury, Michael Bontrager & family, Goshen, Nancy (Jim) Hoover & family, Elkhart, aunts & uncles, North Carolina & Michigan, cousins & families, North Carolina, Michigan & Indiana. Douglas was a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a BS in Economics & Environmental Studies. His work included a variety of jobs, including environmental engineering, construction, electrical work, bicycle sales and service, and glass fabrication. He was a glider pilot and an avid reader.
