Beverly A. Huber Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beverly A. Huber, 83, Wakarusa, IN, went to be with her heavenly Father after a short battle of cancer, Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Beverly was born on October 17, 1938, to Harold and Mary (Homes) Loucks. On July 23, 1955, she married Earl L. Huber in Wakarusa. She is survived by her husband of 66 years; 3 children: Steve (Ramona) Huber of Wakarusa, Ron (Mary) Huber of Goshen, Karen (Denny) Mast of Nappanee. 5 grandchildren: Aaron (Callie) Huber, Michelle (Mike) Marshall, Andrew (Tiffany) Huber, Jason (Chrissy) Mast, Marisa Huber. 5 great-grandchildren, Halli & Hope Huber, Tenley & Paisley Marshall, Ellisyn Huber. She is also survived by a sister, Betty (Eddie) Hand of Wakarusa, and a brother, Dale (Mary Ann) Loucks of Edwardsburg, MI. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant brother. She attended Wakarusa High School. Beverly worked at the U.S. Post Office in Elkhart for 30 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed putting puzzles together. Beverly also enjoyed getting together with friends to play card games. She loved attending all the activities of her grandchildren. For 16 years her husband and her wintered in Sarasota, FL, where she was an associate member of the Good Shepherd Church of the Brethren. Beverly was also a member of the Wakarusa Missionary Church. Visitation will be 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, and one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, July 9, 2022, all at Wakarusa Missionary Church, 202 W. Waterford St., Wakarusa. Pastor Gabe Reed and Sunday School teacher, Steve Ross will officiate. Burial will follow at Olive (West) Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to the Wakarusa Missionary Church or the Wakarusa Public Library.
