Anna Belle Emmert

Anna Belle Emmert, 92, Goshen, died 6:55 a.m. Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Goshen Hospital. She was born August 6, 1929, in Fort Wayne, to Samuel & Anna (Plank) Aschliman. On November 26, 1950, she married Paul T. “Red” Emmert and he died February 16, 2013. Surviving are daughters, Paula Ann Emmert, Goshen, Linda Sue (Blaine) Gilbert, Goshen, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter on the way, siblings, Betty Lambright, Goshen, & Carolyn (James) Stephens, Venice, Florida and a sister-in-law, Pat Aschliman, Sarasota, Florida. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Paul, daughter, Marcia Bloss, siblings, Ada, Rosa, Ervin, Mary, Dorothy, John, Walter & Dale. Anna Belle worked in the medical field as a receptionist and secretary. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir for 67 years. Anna Belle enjoyed cooking for everything and anyone. Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Rieth Rohrer Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Pastor Greg Way will officiate. Burial will be in New Paris Cemetery.
